Ocean Explorer carries four sails. There is a main with three reef points, a 105% Yankee jib, a staysail, and a cruising spinnaker. Note the cutaway keel with the rudder mounted on a skeg. The lead portion of the keel is externally mounted, which gives good protection in the event of grounding.

Most of the time we cruise with just the two of us. We sleep in the forward cabin when anchored or tied up, and utilize the settees (which are equipped with lee cloths) for sleeping when underway. The aft cabin is used for storage of gear.
