Skeleton Shrimp
These tiny animals have long skinny bodies, with small claws to hold on tightly in the ocean. They hold on so tightly, they seem to stand up in the water current. In order to move around they need to crawl, like an inchworm, before standing up again. They can ride on sea stars or crabs, as they reach out for food. They will also eat food which is around them, but they are often seen, reaching out, as if they were a tiny person. Of course they aren’t a person at all, but are shrimp, that are as skinny as a toothpick, and about the length of your fingernail.
